Dr. Curtis Myden is a Royal College Certified sports and knee surgeon specializing in arthroscopic and open surgeries for knee, shoulder, elbow and sport-associated conditions. He also has an interest in Pediatric Orthopedic conditions
Dr. Myden completed his medical degree and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Calgary. Dr. Myden completed fellowship training in Pediatric Orthopedic surgery at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia and Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Myden started his Orthopedic practice in 2013 in Kelowna, BC, specializing in sports medicine Orthopedics with a focus on knee injuries. Dr. Myden has worked the past 5 years in the Yukon Territory and BC. He was the first resident Orthopedic Surgeon in the Yukon territory and primary surgeon to create the resident orthopedic service in the Yukon Territory.

Dr. Jesse Slade Shantz is the founder of Acumen Clinic practicing at Okanagan Surgical Centre and Canadian Surgical Solutions. His practice focuses on disorders of the shoulder and sports-related injuries. He has fellowship training in orthopaedic trauma at The University of California – San Francisco and shoulder and sports disorders at the University of Toronto in addition to his orthopaedic residency training at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Slade Shantz is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery Board Eligible. He is licensed to practice in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario. Dr. Slade Shantz has a special interest in soft tissue injuries related to traumatic causes, an interest that he pursued in a fellowship and an additional year of research at the University of California, San Francisco. He is a member of the Canadian Orthopaedic Association, the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, the Arthroscopy Association of North America and he is a reviewer for Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research and the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma. Dr. Slade Shantz is a member of the Canadian Society of Medical Examiners.
Dr. Don Dick

Dr. Don Dick is a practicing orthopaedic surgeon in the Edmonton Zone. His practice focuses on hip and knee replacements through the Edmonton Musculoskeletal Centre and the Orthopaedic Surgery Centre – Royal Alexandra Hospital.
He divides his time between clinical medicine and healthcare administration. He has had numerous leadership positions in bone and joint health – locally, provincially and nationally. He is presently working part-time for Alberta Health Services in Appropriateness and Health Outcome Analysis.
Dr. Dick is an expert in his field and served on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Orthopaedic Association and in the past was the President of Alberta Orthopaedic Society.His area of orthopaedic interest is in the lower extremity and paediatrics.
